In cosmetic manufacturing, there’s a whole host of opportunities available. From chemistry and customer care to warehouse distributors and operatives, we’re always on the lookout for new talent to join our established team. We understand that this is a competitive industry to get into, so we want to do all we can to provide opportunities for young people who are keen on a career in cosmetic manufacturing. We strongly believe in equal opportunity and providing young people with the chance to get their foot in the door of the cosmetic manufacturing field.

As our business booms, we’re keeping an eye out for individuals who are passionate about cosmetic manufacturing and keen on a career in this field of work.
Our values are deeply important to everything we do here: collaboration, ambition, expertise, integrity, and agility. They guide us in bringing our clients’ brand concepts to life, driving innovative product development in our labs, and producing bespoke personal care products that meet industry standards.
Exciting Cosmetic Manufacturing Opportunities for Young People
Our cosmetic manufacturing experts allow us to produce our excellent cosmetic ranges. We offer generous progression opportunities to each of our team members as we believe in nurturing growth and building skills. This is why we provide exciting opportunities for interns and apprentices because we want to give young people the chance to show us what they’re made of!
We have a long history of student placements, one per year since 2012. Another talented post-graduate Elise, completed her studies last year and has gone to accept a permanent job with us at Orean in the New Product Development team.
We currently have a handful of interns and apprentices with us. One of them is Hannah Curtis, our Student Laboratory Technician who is studying for an Undergraduate Degree in BSc Cosmetic Science at Sunderland University. Having a year-long placement at Orean will give students the skills and experience required to find their feet on the career ladder within the cosmetic industry, standing them in good stead for success.
We work alongside apprenticeship providers who put us in touch with awesome young people who fit our available roles like a glove for our cosmetic manufacturing apprenticeship opportunities. Once upon a time, Bradley Carlton and Nathan MacLean took up apprenticeship roles at Orean when they left school. They have now each progressed into advanced roles, and one has even switched departments! Bradley decided to move from our administration department to the warehouse, where we offered him a course in ‘Supply Chain Logistics’, as well as an FLT license. Nathan meanwhile has advanced in his engineering role in the cosmetic manufacturing career ever since he’s achieved his apprenticeship qualification. Providing valuable training and courses is something that we are eager to offer our new teammates. Read more about our employee stories here.
One of the top benefits of having a placement at Orean is the hands-on experience. We believe that the best way to learn is through practicality, especially in the cosmetic manufacturing industry. Therefore, our students have a crucial role to play in our factory.
The students work for real clients, creating real products in real-time. Our existing talented workforce goes above and beyond to deliver against tight deadlines and take new team members under their wings new apprentices or interns. Working within this thriving environment enhances our new team member’s time management, raises engagement and boosts their productivity within their role. Our learners are going straight in at the deep end for the ultimate training experience in cosmetic manufacturing!
The opportunities we have available vary. Whether you’re keen to jump into the engineering and production side of cosmetic manufacturing, raring to go in our warehouse department, or you prefer the space of our customer services department; we’re committed to finding a role that suits each student best whatever department of cosmetic manufacturing that may be.
Grow With Orean
Working within our vibrant and enriching cosmetic manufacturing environment nurtures the personal and professional growth of our interns and apprentices. We’re proud to have a high success rate of students returning to Orean to work with us full-time once they have completed their studies.
A career in cosmetic manufacturing requires a specific skill set. Our interns and apprentices will grow in confidence as their abilities strengthen, enabling them to produce quality products alongside our existing Orean experts.
We’re proud to have a low retention rate too, as we put our team’s wellbeing first always.
